Resorts World Arena, Birmingham UK - Construction with Community
An expansion of Genting Arena, Birmingham, taking the capacity to 21,600 and becoming the U.K's largest arena.
Resorts World Arena will be upgraded to provide an additional 6,000 new seats to the upper-tiers - taking capacity up to 21,600.
The Populous-designed project, which has been postponed until after the Commonwealth Games in mid-2022, will see the present roof demolished, enlarged, and then rebuilt to make Resorts World Arena one of the top five entertainment venues in the United Kingdom.
New hospitality rooms, lounge/food services, VIP lounges for up to 100 people, retail spaces, and a new concourse with entrances and exits will be created.
