It seems that wherever you look nowadays there's a crane in view across Birmingham, and whilst they may be considered boring by lots, there are many people who are very interested in them. If nothing else, we think they can be a great subject for photographers. An unusual sight, all the cranes at the Smethwick Super Hospital face in the same direction during the high winds in October.

Before the main construction cranes go in, moble ones start with the preparation and early stages, here the two at Paradise Birmingham rest during a break at One Chamberlain Square.
