NEW GARDEN SQUARE, PHASE II

Phase II of New Garden Square will deliver a 115.4m, 37-storey build-to-rent tower, creating a 462-home neighbourhood.

Targeting Home Quality Mark 4* & Fitwell 3* credentials, the ‘stepped bar’ building, designed to its surroundings and the colours and tones of Edgbaston, will be focused around a new green, public park.

The building proposes a residential mix of 226 one (1 person), 210 two (3-4 persons), and 26 three-bed (6 person) apartments, with 10% affordability (tbc).

There will be an array of shared internal & external amenities, including a roof terrace, workspaces, meeting rooms, a gym, a yoga studio and lounges, plus a buzzing mix of commercial, F&B and spill-out spaces at ground level.

Demolition: To facilitate this, 1 Duchess Place will make way, with its basement retained and extended to accommodate 17 vehicles, 50 cycles, and MEP facilities (39 cars & 230 cycles overall).
