This feature takes a cloaser look at the amazing heritage and culture as shown in some amazing classic buildings. 

Great Hampton Street (close to Hockley fly over)

The Post Office.

Heading up towards the city centre along Great Hampton Street is Well Street.  Either side of Well Street are these buildings, one used of the offices of Detail, a design and build company.

Currently in this building on the other side of Well Street is Divya Group Centre.

Corner of Well Street and Barr Street

On the corner of Well Street and Barr Street is this building, occupied by jewellers Sterling-K House.

A little further along Great Hampron Street is this with the name of the company that used to occupy these premises, Boston Clothing Company.

On the other side of Great Hampton Street are these terraced houses, now run as businesses.

Hockley Street

In need of a little TLC but what potential for this row on Hockley Street.

A short walk from Hockley Street along Great Hampton Street  is The Clifden (previously The Lord Clifden), up for sale at the time of this feature.

Next to The Clifden is land purchased by developers Cordia for a development called The Lampworks which will reflect the area’s industrial history.  Here there was a former brass foundry and furniture works.

The historic 30 Great Hampton Street building will be retained and converted to facilitate more desirable homes and a vibrant commercial spaces.
